Yiwu Export Agent: From Confirmed Order to Loaded Shipment
Once your purchase order is confirmed, the export side of the work begins. As a yiwu export agent, Mutual Trade manages everything between suppliers and your destination port: goods collection, export packing, document preparation, booking, consolidation and dispatch. Whether you have been working through a China import agent or are handling purchasing directly, this page explains what the outbound half of the service covers.
What the Yiwu Agent Service Handles Before Dispatch
Goods ordered from Futian Market booths and factories in Jinhua, Yongkang, Pujiang and Dongyang arrive at our Yiwu consolidation warehouse at different times. We receive, check in and stage each batch against the order list, then prepare it for export:
- Export packing and marking: cartons built for sea or air transit, with relabelling where your retail or warehouse labels differ from the factory version.
- Compliance labels: warning labels and customs marks applied as required by product type and destination market.
- Carton marks: multilingual shipping marks and side marks agreed with you before dispatch.
- Protection: moisture barriers and shock protection for fragile categories; export pallets and fumigation marks where the destination or carrier requires them.
- Consolidation: multi-SKU mixed cartons, gift bundling and seasonal packs assembled under one shipment reference.
Where purchasing is still in progress, our product sourcing services team coordinates supplier collection so that export packing is not delayed by late deliveries.
Documents Prepared and Pre-Checked
Document errors are a common cause of clearance delays, so every set is prepared and reviewed before the shipment leaves Yiwu. The standard set includes the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin (CO/Form A), bill of lading, insurance policy and export customs declaration. We also advise on HS code classification and pre-review the document set against the destination country's requirements, flagging mismatches between invoice descriptions, HS codes and packing list quantities before filing.
For importers who also need to verify the goods themselves, inspection can be arranged before dispatch and coordinated with third-party bodies such as SGS, BV, TUV or Intertek on request.
Transport Options Booked from Yiwu
We book and manage the mode that fits your volume, budget and deadline. Sea freight moves FCL or LCL via Ningbo or Shanghai; air freight departs via Yiwu, Hangzhou or Shanghai; China-Europe rail and express couriers cover the remaining cases. Incoterms supported include EXW, FOB Ningbo/Shanghai, CIF and DDP. Baseline transit times are:
- Sea freight: South America 45–55 days; Europe 30–45 days; US West Coast 35–50 days.
- Air door-to-door: 7–15 days.
- China-Europe rail: 20–30 days.
- Express couriers: 3–7 days worldwide.
Transit figures are baselines, not guarantees; routing and carrier schedules are confirmed at booking. Buyers comparing modes or suppliers for the first time may find it useful to read how a buying agent in China coordinates sourcing and export in one order cycle.
Tracking, Reporting and the Dispatch Window
You receive weekly status updates or live tracking links, whichever suits your team, plus exception alerts when port congestion, weather or carrier changes affect the schedule. Once the shipment is loaded, we share the bill of lading and the final document set, and keep batch samples and inspection records on file for at least 12 months.
The consolidation and dispatch step normally runs 5–15 days. It sits inside the standard 30–90 day order cycle, alongside requirement confirmation (1–3 days), quotation and samples (3–15 days) and production or purchasing (15–45 days after order confirmation). Inspection reports are sent at least 3 days before shipment, so there is time to act on findings. Quality issues raised during the export stage are reported within 24 hours and followed through a 24–48–7 day closure loop.
Working with Our Yiwu Agent Service
Payment for export-stage orders follows the standard terms: T/T 30% deposit with 70% balance against copy of bill of lading or before shipment, L/C for larger or first orders, and PayPal or Alipay for small test orders and samples under US$2,000. Staged 30/30/40 terms are available, and quarterly or annual framework agreements can lock exchange rates and batch pricing for repeat ranges. For seasonal and holiday programmes, lock the range 90–120 days ahead so production, inspection and the dispatch window all fall inside your selling season.
